Our Teacher Hospitalized

Hi Everyone,
The blog editor and initiator of the Eshibinga laptop project Mr. Amunga has been down with serious chest pains which the doctors claim is lung collapse. His left lung has been detected to have fluid that needs to be discharged. This is an expensive affair and the kids of Eshibinga Primary have decided to contribute towards Mr. Amunga’s Hospitalization. They visited his wife this morining and presented to him Ksh. 2800, ( About 40 dollars.) We wish him a quick recovery.

What an ‘ACT’ from the eshibinga kids! We could not ask for more than the kindness and thoughfulness from the Eshibinga community. This is an act of true stewardship! I am saddened to hear Amunga is unwell but I am trusting soon he will be on his feet. I have tried getting in touch with him lately but not been successful. Kindly give me a lead whom I could talk to.
God is our hope and promise. He is in control and He does perform miracles. We are part of His family and He does love us. Even when we are in serious trouble, we do not need to be afraid, but just trust Him. He is concerned about our daily needs, as well as our problems. He can see the big picture and knows what is best for us.

Heavenly Father, You are intimately aware of the struggle and pain and procedure Mr. Amunga is experiencing — the pain and the despair. You know the desire of his and our hearts to be healed of this illness. We pray for your healing touch. I know that you are able and that just like in Bible times, you can heal Mr. Amunga.
